Its Best to Begin at the Beginning

Often when we don't know where to begin, it's best to begin at the beginning... The first commandment with promise is to Honor thy father and mother so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you Exodus 20:12. Honor, longevity and His promise. Interestingly enough, from our first relationship; the one with our mother and father is where our patterns of relating behaviors take root. Whether still living or deceased; an active participant or absent, wives and husbands tend to use that first relationship as a template for all others including their marital relationship.
